Shafaq News / The political blocs have not decided the candidates for the vacant ministries and have not yet set any date for the parliament session, the representative of Change Bloc, Ghaleb Muhammad confirmed today.

"The political blocs have not yet agreed on their candidates to complete the cabinet, due to political differences, preoccupation with the economic crisis and Corona repercussions,” Mohamed told Shafaq News Agency.

"Revolving the ministerial cabinet is unlikely to happen at the present time, due to the conflicts over positions and the absence of consensus to pass the candidates and the insistence of some blocs to present candidates who are politically and popularly rejected."

Regarding the nominations of the Kurdish blocs to the Ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs, he said, "We are not within Kurdistan Alliance and we did not vote or participate in Al-Kadhimi’s government because of the absence of the reform program as its trends are away from the demands and aspirations of the masses and the demonstrators in particular."

He pointed out that "the current government does not differ from its predecessors and will not achieve any progress or positive change that will lift the country and the political process from the miserable reality."

The MP revealed that Parliamentary Bloc of Parliamentary Ali al-Badiri, earlier that Prime Minister Mustafa al-Khadimi was subjected to political pressure to obtain positions and personal gains, and prevented him at the same time from opening corruption files in the Integrity Commission.

Observers point out that Al-Kadhimi still needs the support of political forces to pass the rest of his government formation, as well as ensuring the support of the majority in Parliament for the work of his government.
