The Sabian bloc warns against involving religious and jurisprudential issues in legal legislation

head of the Sabean-Mandaean bloc, Nawfal Al-Nashi, warned on Sunday against involving religious and jurisprudential issues in legal legislation, noting that the constitution stresses the importance of building a civil state.
Al-Nashi said in a statement to "the information", that "based on the text of Article 2 of the Constitution and the importance of building a civil state and correct citizenship, and not including religious and jurisprudential issues in legal legislation."
He added that the role of the jurists referred to in the draft law of the Federal Court is an advisory role, and that it is in their cases.
During the meeting, the Presidency of Parliament with the political blocs and the Legal Committee took place yesterday, Saturday, an agreement was made on (4) articles from the contentious articles and the remaining two articles were postponed until Sunday's meeting, and the Federal Court Law issues the agenda for tomorrow's session, Monday.
