    (Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, on Monday, directed Baghdad operations to immediately lift the checkpoints and set up a deliberate plan as soon as
    Al-Kazemi said in a statement that Al-Furat News received a copy of it, that "the Prime Minister made a visit to the Baghdad Operations Command, during which he met with a number of security leaders, and he also followed the security measures taken in the capital, Baghdad."
    Al-Kazemi praised "the great efforts made by the security services in securing the arrival of His Holiness Pope Francis to the capital, Baghdad, on his historic visit to Iraq, as well as the security efforts in implementing the curfew approved by the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety," noting that "the plans put in place to secure the ceremony of visiting the shrine of the Imam Musa bin Jaafar, peace be upon him.
    He stressed "the professional work and the activation of the intelligence effort in the face of crime, the pursuit of criminal and outlaw gangs, and the emphasis on the rule of law and ensuring the protection of the security and stability of citizens."
    The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces directed, "Baghdad Operations Command, to immediately lift a number of checkpoints and to develop a well-thought-out plan as soon as possible to lift other checkpoints that constitute a burden on the movement of citizens and traffic flow in light of the security improvement witnessed in the capital, Baghdad."
