{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, approved the Women Survivors Law, which was recently approved by Parliament.
Saleh formally approved the law of female survivors of Yazidis, Turkmen women, and Shabaks, under the dome of the House of Representatives, and on International Women's Day, in the presence of a number of women survivors of terrorism.
The signing ceremony took place in the Great Hall of Parliament before the House of Representatives session today during the celebration of International Women's Day, which falls on the eighth of March of each year.
The signing was attended by the head of the Iraqi coalition, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, the Speaker of Parliament Muhammad al-Halbousi, the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, and the UN representative in Iraq, Jenin Blashart.
