    The deputy of the Kurdistan Islamic Group, Salim Hamza, announced today, Sunday, agreement on a formula described as "acceptable" regarding Article 11 of the federal budget that concerns the share of the Kurdistan region.


    Hamza said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "It was agreed within the Finance Committee and voted on an acceptable formula regarding Article 11 of the budget related to the Kurdistan region’s share, awaiting discussion with the rest of the political forces inside the parliament, and the next few hours will be decided to hold the session and vote on the budget." He added, "We hope that an agreement will be reached that does not cut off the livelihood of the citizens."







    Hamza pointed out that "the region has provided full flexibility and understanding in order to achieve a coexistence formula that does not deprive any province of its rights, and the Kurdish delegation has announced that it is ready to hand over the oil wealth and revenues from the outlets at acceptable rates, and what remains of the time will be decisive," calling on parliament members to "enter The room in the spirit of responsibility and peaceful coexistence, and not to be fanatical about their decision, and to vote in a comprehensive national self, given that the budget is for all of Iraq, and although the budget was not integrated with everything we wish, we must not postpone it for longer periods.


    He continued, "The Kurdish representatives have concerns, and in the event of failure to obtain an agreement, the Kurdish blocs will boycott the session and do not participate in the voting session on the budget because we are not ready to vote on a budget that deprives the second component in Iraq of their rights, and God willing, we will reach an agreement on the budget because we all have made it." A great effort and intensive meetings to approve the budget, "stressing that" the differences are not limited to the region's share, but there are other problems awaiting its resolution. "
