    The Ministry of Trade announced that the Ramadan quota of the ration card items
     and zero flour will be secured during Ramadan.
    Earlier, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi issued several decisions aimed at stopping the rise in food prices, stopping the greed of merchants, and following up the markets during Ramadan. 
    The director of the grain processing company affiliated to the Ministry of Commerce, Atheer Dawood Salman, said in a press interview, "The company has completed distributing the Ramadan quota of zero flour throughout the country's provinces.
    He added, "Most of the mills in charge of producing zero flour to prepare the quota for the month of Ramadan have completed grinding the quantities allocated to them, and have started the inventory process in preparation for producing the fourth batch of flour allocated for the ration card, which will be distributed during the next few days."
    Last March, the Council of Ministers directed the Ministry of Trade to withhold the ration card items from a group of "non-needy" groups, starting from next June, including families whose monthly income exceeds one million and 500 thousand dinars.
    Salman pointed out that there is a follow-up of the fleet transporting wheat to grain silos with low storage to complete the equipment of the mills and prepare to prepare the fourth batch of flour within the second batch of the Ramadan ration, with reliance on rapid plans to provide grains in all production sites, for the continuity of the flour processing process at the specified times ».
    He pointed out, "There is coordination between food companies to deliver the Ramadan quota at simultaneous times and to conduct transfers related to providing the necessary grains for grinding, and to achieve smooth production and distribution according to the specified times and in accordance with the marketing plan."
    The Minister of Trade, Alaa al-Jubouri, had announced the government's seriousness to support the stability of the ration card file during the coming period, and confirmed that the ministry had received sums of money to distribute the Ramadan quota, which we are about to end 80% of, and will be distributed within days.
