{Local: Al Furat News} The Minister of Electricity, Majid Hantoush, announced the emirate, the ministry's cadres in all its sectors, a complete alert for the maintenance of stations, power transmission lines and distribution networks within the plan prepared by the ministry for the summer of 2021.

A statement by the ministry stated that the Euphrates News Agency received a copy of it that the emirate “received in his office at the ministry’s headquarters, the governor of Maysan on Douai, and a number of parliament members from the governorate, and discussed with them the reality of the national system and resolving bottlenecks.”
The two sides discussed "the work of the sectors (production, transportation, distribution), and the work of resolving bottlenecks and the need for mobiles in some regions, in addition to working on stabilizing the voltages with respect to Iranian lines."
They also discussed "the needs of the distribution sector for fund transformers, in addition to the necessity to transfer the materials from the investment plan to the operational one, taking into account the maintenance and sectors part to cope with providing service to subscribers. Fuel supplies to Al-Kahla station and Bazerkan station were also discussed."
The minister instructed the emirate to break down bottlenecks and change transformer capacities and replace them with larger capacities in order to balance loads and eliminate waste, and the need for transport and distribution managers to cooperate with the local government in order to maintain and maintain the network for the stability of supply for citizens, in addition to completing the Petra line.
He also directed the completion of the Maymouna line, and the ruling need for (Bazerkan - Kahila) line, as it is responsible for treating low voltage levels (voltages), as well as proceeding with the installation of a GIS device in the wheels and maintenance mechanisms to follow up the network faults.
