The National Retirement Authority confirmed, today, Saturday, that the adoption of electronic automation accelerated the completion of retirement identities within hours, while indicating that there are two cases that cause delays in transactions.
The Deputy Chairman of the Retirement Authority, Hossam Abdel-Sattar Hammadi, said in a statement to the official agency, followed by the “National News Center”: “The National Retirement Authority has adopted electronic technology in completing the retirement transaction since September 15 of the year 2019 and has begun to develop it,” noting that “the paper transaction It was delayed for several days, but today the transaction is completed within hours and the retiree receives his retirement identity.”
He added, "A people were opened through the retirement program in each ministry, in addition to training all employees of the departments working in the retirement division on this system," stressing that "the retirement department is the first department that applied the government's call to adopt electronic automation."
He pointed out that "there is a delay that occurs to some employees referred to retirement from their departments, due to their lack of financial acquittal, as they have a car or an advance that has not been fully paid."
He explained that "the Retirement Commission has 8 directorates in Baghdad, including the Military Retirement Department, the Internal Retirement Department, and a work post for the Popular Mobilization Commission, as well as other departments, in addition to the fact that in each province there is a branch of the Retirement Commission."
He pointed out that "Basra governorate includes 8 departments belonging to the retirement authority, and we have other plans to expand, but the financial crisis has frozen our work," stressing that "there are plans to add departments to our authority in the governorates during 2022."
