Iraq's external public debt has fallen to $20 billion

The Iraqi News Agency quoted the Prime Minister's Adviser for Financial Affairs, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, as saying today, Saturday, that the country's external public debt has fallen to only $20 billion.

Iraq, which depends 95 percent of its budget in 2021 on oil, plans to increase its oil exports to 3.4 million barrels per day in the first quarter of 2022.
