Under the slogan "The Palm and the Neighbors", the Iraq International Book Fair will be launched soon

Yesterday, Tuesday, the management of the Iraq International Book Fair announced the launch of the exhibition and its activities, on the 8th of December, and until the 18th of the same month.
This came in a statement issued by the exhibition management, as follows:
The second Iraq International Book Fair - Absent Tuma Farman session will be held on the 8th of December until the 18th of December at the International Fairgrounds in Baghdad.
The message of the exhibition, which Al Mada is keen on perpetuating every year, expresses Baghdad’s historical status, as the metropolis of the world and the city of poets, scholars, thinkers and artists that embraced Al-Karmali, Jawad Selim, Abdul-Wahhab Al-Bayati, Ghaib Tohma Farman, Fouad Al-Takarli and Nazim Al-Ghazali, and it has remained throughout the ages the cultural heart of Iraq. Out of its national responsibility, the organizing committee pledged to take all necessary measures and secure what is required for the safety of exhibitors and visitors to the exhibition in the face of the Corona pandemic. Being keen on organizing the exhibition reflects the belief in the necessity of continuing cultural action, and ensuring the flow of knowledge by facilitating access to the book and interaction with its creators and makers. Providing citizens with everything that would elevate them and enable them to change their reality and mobilize the living forces of society and mobilize them to make a civilizational turn that would enable them to catch up with civilization and progress.
The exhibition will witness the participation of a group of prominent writers, thinkers, artists and critics participating in dozens of cultural, intellectual and artistic events and seminars, and workshops dealing with various fields of intellectual, cultural and artistic creativity.
The exhibition is held by the Al-Mada Foundation for Media, Culture and Arts, under the patronage of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, in cooperation with the Iraqi Writers Union and the Iraqi Publishers Association.
