The Preparatory Committee for the demonstrations rejecting the election results in Baghdad and the provinces, on Friday, issued an angry statement, confirming the existence of an insistence on falsifying the results from two sides.
And the committee stated, in a statement that “Mawazine News” received a copy of, that after the explicit insistence of the outgoing Al-Kazemi to falsify the truth repeatedly, sometimes in conjunction with external parties to rig the elections and sometimes in the formation of committees that deliberately conceal the truth, and the continuous endeavor to waste the rights of the blood of the martyrs who have passed In defense of the right and its people in a way that the Al-Kazemi media government cannot be silent about, and the insistence of the (non-independent) Electoral Commission to announce the final results of the elections, without taking into account the appeals and evidence confirming the corruption and fraud of the elections, as well as ignoring the demands of the oppressed people due to fraud, and accordingly we would like to show the following:
First: The hope that rests on the integrity and justice of the brave Iraqi judiciary to return the right to its people and expose the killers of the protesters is a great hope for achieving justice and fairness to the rightful owners.
Second: We categorically reject the findings of the investigative committee in the case of killing peaceful protesters and burning their tents, so their blood will not be wasted and the sun will not be obscured by a sieve.
Third: We salute the Mutassim youth and urge the masses of demonstrators on Friday of steadfastness, and we call on them to be steadfast and patient. Victory is nothing but patience for an hour. Ended 29/R77
