{Political: Al Furat News} Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Al-Hakim said, "The next government in Iraq needs a stable political atmosphere in order to accomplish its tasks and priorities in combating corruption, providing services and job opportunities, and developing successful solutions to social, political and economic crises."
A statement from his office, of which Al-Furat News Agency received a copy, stated that Mr. Al-Hakim received the British ambassador in Baghdad, Mark Bryson Richardson, and stressed during the meeting, "the importance of dialogue as an optimal way to address the region's crises in a manner that secures the interests of all."
He pointed out, "Political solutions are possible if there is a serious will and everyone has a culture of containment and compromise for the benefit of Iraq and its people."
Mr. Al-Hakim renewed his "demand for the Federal Court to seriously and objectively consider the complaints and appeals submitted before it before approving the election results."
