{Political: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed the need to support the state in confronting terrorism.
Saleh said in a tweet on Twitter: "On the day of victory over ISIS, we remember the heroism of our armed forces from the army, the police, the Popular Mobilization and the Peshmerga, and the great role of the religious authority in mobilizing the forces of the people, and supporting friends and the international coalition."
He added, "Our duty today is to complete victory by supporting and enabling the state to eradicate the remnants of terrorism, return the displaced, and achieve reconstruction."
