    Today, Monday, the Ministry of Oil announced that the Iraqi Drilling Company signed a contract with the Chinese company ZPEC.
    A ministry statement received by the "National News Center" stated that "the Iraqi Drilling Company signed a partnership contract with the Chinese company ZPEC."
    The Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Basem Abdul Karim, said that "the contract includes providing support and completion of the work associated with drilling and reclamation operations for the benefit of international companies operating Iraqi oil fields, developing the company's cadres, and transferring expertise and technology."
    He added, "These contracts come within the framework of upgrading the work of the national effort in the field of drilling."
    It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Drilling Company concluded many contracts with specialized international companies such as Halliburton, Weatherford and Schlumberger to expand the scope of its work and expedite the implementation of projects and the introduction of modern systems for work.
