The Notary Public Department of the Ministry of Justice announced, on Tuesday, the adoption of new specifications in agency forms and bills of exchange, which are distinguished by the difficulty of forging them to guarantee the rights of citizens.
The director general of the department, Rasti Yousef Hamid, said in a statement reported by the newspaper "Al-Sabah" and seen by the "National News Center", that "the agencies, especially the vehicle registration agency, the law firm and the machinery registration form and bills of exchange were in the past regular models without any specifications, which makes it easier for the weak-minded to forge and use them, and therefore Loss of the rights of citizens.
Hamid added, "The department, as part of its plans for the current year, has opened a number of judicial departments to absorb the momentum witnessed by some departments in the governorates, including the notary of Sinjar in Nineveh governorate and the notary of the monastery in Basra governorate."
He explained, "The ministry has coordinated with the local governments in the governorates to form a committee for the purpose of acquiring real estate belonging to the state to replace the leased book offices, as two properties were found in Maysan and the same in Wasit."
He pointed out that "the departments were supplied with about 31 notary clerks after graduating from the course held at the Judicial Institute, as they were trained in various judicial and criminal fields and the detection of forgery, as well as a human rights subject to familiarize them with how to deal with auditors."
