    {Umniah: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Defense announced that the Iraqi army is "ready" to defend any inch of the Arab world.
    The central speech of the Ministry of Defense on the occasion of the one hundred first anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army stated: “Today we celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the first Iraqi army, as this army emerged on the sixth of January 1921, through the regiment of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), this regiment. Which has evolved over the years and has grown with its achievements and heroisms and the sacrifices of its heroes until the Iraqi army is known as one of the best armies in the world through its equipment and numbers.
    He added, "Today, as we recall the history of the great Iraqi army, we must talk about the heroism of this army, which history has recorded in letters of gold through the blood of the martyrs that shed to worship the path of victory not only in Iraq but in the entire Arab world, and this blood bears witness to the tombstones. Which is still lofty in Jenin and Nablus in Palestine and Mafraq in Jordan.
    The defense indicated, "The battles in which the heroes participated in Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Syria and other battles in which the Iraqi soldier valiantly sacrificed his soul for the homeland is nothing but a witness to the affiliation of this army and its love for its country, Iraq and its Arab country as a whole, as it was and is still ready, To defend any inch of the Arab world that may be exposed to any threat of any kind.
    He pointed out that "the history of our army is full of feats and heroisms, so how not, and it is the proud army of Iraq, the army of a homeland whose history and depth extends to more than (7000) years BC."
    She noted, "We must also remember the heroism of the sons of this army during contemporary days, specifically through the liberation battles that our heroic army fought against the terrorists of ISIS, which is one of the greatest national exploits throughout the history of contemporary Iraq, as the heroes wrote in an immortal heroic epic the most wonderful images Heroism and sacrifice, which won the admiration and appreciation of the whole world. The Iraqi army, with the support of the rest of the formations of our armed forces, including the Federal Police, the Counter-Terrorism Service, a popular mobilization, a clan mobilization, Peshmerga, local police, and rapid response forces, has refuted, and during a record period of time, some bet on the myth of ISIS and defeated them the evil of defeat, and proved Once again, for the whole world, the Iraqi army is getting sick, but it does not die, and that it is like the land of the great Iraq, in every inch of it, glory and pride that never fails.
    And the defense concluded its statement by saying: “A thousand salutes to the heroes of our great army on the one hundred first anniversary of its founding, and mercy and eternity to the martyrs of our proud army, whose blood was irrigated and the path of victory, and we do not forget our wounded heroes, praying to God Almighty to grant them a speedy recovery.”
