    The Central Bank of Iraq issued a clarification regarding raising the identification plates for the reconstruction of Al-Mutanabi Street.
    An authorized source in the bank said, according to a statement received by “Ultra Iraq”, a copy of it, “When the Central Bank of Iraq’s community initiative, funded by banks and non-bank financial institutions under the management of the Central Bank and the Association of Private Banks, was launched, it was to achieve development and societal goals decided by a higher committee, which studies each case. In light of its circumstances, priorities, and economic, social and cultural feasibility.”
    He added: "This is how the initiative launched to rebuild and rehabilitate Al-Mutanabi Street, the heart of culture in Iraq and a source of inspiration for intellectuals, and the public in general.
    He continued: "We have noted the reactions issued by some media, social media, the public, and direct communications due to the workers in the Municipality of Baghdad raising indicative and induction panels that indicate the contributions of the aforementioned entities in financing and supporting the reconstruction and rehabilitation campaign. We refer to two things: The first: We are very pleased that our people and its intellectuals have followed this achievement first and foremost and they have knowledge and conviction of the details of the achievement and its pioneers, and the second: Baghdad deserves more than what we have done and what we or any other institution will do.
