Today, Monday, the Secretary-General of the Iraqi Islamic Party, Rashid Al-Azzawi, described financial and administrative corruption as an epidemic, which is eating away at all institutions.
Al-Azzawi said in a tweet via "Twitter", followed by "Al-Nour News", that "the escalation of cases of embezzlement and bribery, which the official authorities are grateful to follow and prosecute, is a phenomenon that reinforces the saying that financial and administrative corruption has become an epidemic that eats all institutions."
He added, "Supporting efforts to address this file from its roots, and daring, that deals with all those involved in this file, regardless of their address, is a necessary initial step to reach the state of recovery that we aspire to for many years in our dear country."
