Communications: The Fiber to Home project is not affected by climate change

Today, Monday, the Ministry of Communications confirmed that the "Fiber to Home" project is not affected by climate changes.
The ministry's spokesman, Raad al-Mashhadani, said, in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency, and followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the (Viber to Home) project did not stop in Baghdad and work is continuing in full swing to improve the Internet service," noting that "the Ministry is preparing (Viber to Home) Home) is one of the most important and largest projects at the moment.”
He added, "The number of participants in the project reached 60,000 on the Karkh side only, and there is great demand for the project."
He pointed out that "the project provides a number of additional services, including the opening of television channels, game services, in which the download is very fast, and communication services are good."
He continued, "The service prices in the project are low, as it is calculated from a (land to land) connection at five dinars per minute, from (land to mobile) at fifty dinars, and from (land to land in the governorates) at fifteen dinars," explaining, "The ministry did not record any A technical defect in the project networks despite the effects of the climate.
He stressed, "(Viber to Home) is comparable to the landline phone, but it is called a global and engineering designation: (Viber to Home)."
He pointed out that "work is underway on the optical cable project in most of the Iraqi provinces," noting that "the Iraqi national project for the Ministry of Communications, which represents the great Iraqi national projects at the level of improving and capacity of the Internet service."
He noted that "Iraq reached the 47th place globally in improving internet service, after it was at the bottom of the global ranking lists."
