An Iraqi delegation headed by Minister of Water Resources Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani arrived today, Monday, in the Netherlands.
A ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, "The Minister of Water Resources, Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani, headed the ministry's technical delegation heading to the Kingdom of the Netherlands to participate in bilateral meetings with the Dutch side."
He added, "The visit came to discuss plans to enhance joint cooperation in the field of water resources management with Dutch institutions specialized in water affairs, and to identify strategic directions through which institutional capacities can be developed and legislations developed to suit regional and global changes and challenges in the water domain."
He added, "The Iraqi Chargé d'Affairs, Ali Hilal, and the staff of the Iraqi embassy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, received the Minister of Water Resources and the delegation accompanying him."
