    Economy News - Baghdad
The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi, and the Indian Ambassador in Baghdad, Prashant Bisai, discussed, on Sunday, a mechanism to facilitate the tasks of Indian workers working in Iraq.
A statement by the Cabinet Secretariat said that "the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi, received the Ambassador of the Republic of India in Baghdad, Prashant Bisai."
The statement added, "The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers praised the strong bilateral relations that bind the governments and peoples of the two countries, stressing the Iraqi government's endeavor to develop them in the economic and commercial fields."
The two sides discussed, according to the statement, "a mechanism for facilitating the tasks of Indian workers working in various projects in Iraq, in granting them entry visas and renewing residencies."
The meeting also touched on "the possibility of exchanging experiences and cultures between Iraq and India, by sending Iraqi competencies to India, to participate in training courses to develop capabilities in the areas of e-governance and youth projects."
