Iran considers Iraq the "biggest" Arab country that supports the Palestinian cause and the "invasive line to liberate Jerusalem."
Shafaq News/ The Iranian cultural attaché in Baghdad, Gholam Reza Abaziri, considered Iraq one of the largest Arab countries that support the Palestinian cause, and said that the slogan against normalization with Israel has now become part of the general culture of the Iraqi people.
"In light of my knowledge of the Iraqi people, resistance groups, political and seminary currents, as well as the Sadrist movement led by Muqtada al-Sadr, the Zionist entity will pursue its dream of normalizing relations with Iraq to the grave with it," he said in statements reported by the Iranian Mehr news agency today.
He referred to the Sadrist movement's recent initiative to submit a draft to the Iraqi Parliament to criminalize normalization with Israel, pointing out that "the movement, since the era of the martyr Ayatollah Muhammad Sadeq al-Sadr, has raised the slogan, "No, no Israel," this slogan has now turned into a culture for the Iraqi people and will become law. after its adoption in Parliament.
As Abaziri noted, "Ayatollah Al-Sistani raised the issue of Palestine and Jerusalem during the meeting of the Pope of the Vatican with him, which proves that Iraq is firm in its position on the issue of Palestine. Therefore, the entity's dream of normalizing relations with Iraq will not be realized."
The cultural attaché considered, "Iraq is the largest Arab country in support of Jerusalem, and that the Iraqis are the most determined and determined to confront normalization and bargain with the Zionist entity."
