The Agricultural Bank decides to postpone the payment of installments and loans
Shafaq News/ The Cooperative Agricultural Bank announced today, Wednesday, the postponement of the payment of agricultural loan installments within the framework of the initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq.
And the bank’s media said in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, “It was decided to postpone the payment of installments and interests due to borrowers who wish to do so from the bank’s customers within the funds of the Central Bank initiative until 12/31/2024, with no objection to receiving it from those who wish to continue paying from customers according to the directives of the Central Bank. Iraqi".
Hashem added that this initiative came in the context of supporting projects and mitigating the effects of the Corona pandemic and the economic conditions that prevail in the world, which affected the abilities of some borrowers to fulfill their obligations, in a way that ensures the continuation of their projects and overcoming problems.
