Baghdad / Obelisk: On Saturday, July 9, 2022, the Azm Alliance sent a message to the Taqaddam party, which is led by the current Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, regarding the electoral benefits of the Sunni political forces during the process of forming the new government.
Azm leader Haider al-Mulla said in a statement to local agencies, "The Azm Alliance will not practice a policy of exclusion against the Progress Party, and it will offer it benefits and take a large part of it through the position of Speaker of Parliament."
Al-Mulla added, “If the Takadum party does not want the position of Speaker of Parliament, then Muhammad al-Halbousi should leave the position, and Azm Alliance takes him, and the alliance has many qualified and able personalities to manage this position, so that it takes some ministerial portfolios in its place.”
He continued: The ministries will be divided into the remaining points according to the parliamentary seats, especially since the position of the Speaker of Parliament takes (30) points...
