Civil Aviation issues clarification regarding the departure of a plane from Baghdad airport with $4 billion on board
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority denied, on Wednesday, what was stated in a statement by MP Alia Nassif about the departure of a private plane from Baghdad International Airport with 4 billion dollars on board to Turkey.
The authority stated in a statement today, that Baghdad International Airport has staffs from various security and civil government formations that monitor and follow up the movement of passengers and money smuggling operations, noting that the operations room is shared by airport security, the intelligence service and the security company.
The statement explained that the extraction of commissions and gold coins is the competence of the General Customs Authority and Baghdad Airport Customs, and it is not possible for everyone to collude to pass these large amounts of money, in addition to the fact that the security company accused by the representative did not start its work during the period I mentioned.
The statement noted that all cameras work normally and continuously and record all events inside and outside the corridors of the airport, and the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority and Baghdad International Airport will use their legal right to file a lawsuit against all that is said and what is falsely rumored without evidence supported by official documents to fabricate a group of false and inaccurate news Its goal is to spread a culture of chaos and confusion in the reality of our work, which aims to provide service to travelers.
