Today, Friday, the Ministry of Electricity confirmed that the government is paying attention to the energy file, while it revealed the signing of a protocol with the Baghdad Center for Renewable Energy regarding 4 files.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Moussa, said, "The Ministry of Electricity, within the framework of the National Initiative for Energy Support, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, signed a national media team with the Baghdad Center for Renewable Energy, a cooperation protocol that provides for the training of media cadres, dissemination of media messages and education, and holding workshops regarding energy subsidies. combating desertification, drought and water pollution.
He added that "the Baghdad Center is a basic building block that supports and motivates the direction of relying on renewable solar energies," noting that "the ministry is trying to send important messages about the need to pay attention to energy and its high costs."
He pointed out that there is government support from Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and an interest from the ministry in improving the electricity file to lift the burden on citizens.
