Today, Friday, the Ministry of Planning announced the imminent completion of the work number platform, while specifying the reasons for delaying the completion in full.
Ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi said, "The ministry continues to work on the completion of the job number platform for Iraqi state employees in all different institutions," noting that "the number of employees who have been granted a job number has reached less than 3 million employees."
He added that "work is continuing to give the rest of the employees numbers," noting that "the delay in completing the platform process is sometimes linked to the condition of the employee who is retired or dies or any other circumstances."
Earlier, the Ministry of Planning announced that the job number platform will eliminate the problem of double salaries, and confirmed that a committee formed by the Council of Ministers is auditing employee data to ensure the accuracy of job number information.
