Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, confirmed, on Wednesday, that non-compliance with the constitution is behind the accumulation of political problems.
The media office of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement, a copy of which Mawazine News received, that "Abdullah met with the head of the Baghdad Riwaq Center for Public Policies, Abbas Al-Anbouri, and a number of members of the center."
He added, "During the meeting, issues related to the role of studies and research centers were discussed, and the importance of providing the legislative institution and decision-makers with ideas related to laws, political and economic issues, and providing advice, reports and field questionnaires."
He pointed out that "the meeting included talking about raising awareness and education about the constitution, and expanding the positive impact of research and studies centers."
Abdullah stressed during the meeting that "the lack of adherence to the constitution and the application of its articles during the era of previous governments stands behind the deterioration of conditions, the failure to achieve prosperity and the accumulation of political problems." Ended 29 / H
