, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi affirmed, today, Friday, the support of the government and oversight institutions to limit the influence of corruption and the corrupt.
Al-Halbousi said, in a tweet followed by Mawazine News, "On the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day, we affirm our support for the efforts of the government and oversight institutions that work to limit the influence of corruption and the corrupt."
He added, "We are working from the position of responsibility of the legislative and oversight authority to enact the necessary legislation that contributes to combating corruption." Ended 29/M99
