The Ministry of Justice announced today, Wednesday, the number of inmates released from the correctional departments, including those covered by the general and private amnesty.
A statement by the Ministry stated that the number of those released for the month of January reached (714) inmates (646 men) and (68 women), including (7) inmates covered by the general amnesty law, bringing the number of those released by this decision from November 2016 to 31. December 2022 (9539) inmates.
While the number of those released by the special amnesty decision from January 2022 to December 31, 2022 reached (1172).
