Today, Sunday, the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Serbest Lazkin, confirmed that his party seeks to hold the Kurdistan Parliament elections at the end of 2023.[/size]
[size=45]Zakin said in statements to reporters that the elections were scheduled to take place, but that did not happen and it was decided to postpone them for a whole year, adding that these elections should be held at the end of the year, and that the Kurdistan Democratic Party seeks to achieve this.[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that the activation of the Independent High Commission for Elections and Referendum in the region is a matter of disagreement between the Kurdish political parties and parties, and despite that, the Kurdistan Democratic Party aims to hold elections by preparing the appropriate ground with other parties.[/size]
