Shafaq News / Soran Omar, a member of the Iraqi Parliament, from Sulaymaniyah Governorate, announced on Monday that the file of the largest money laundering network and withdrawing dollars has been handed over to the Iraqi Integrity Commission.

Omar said, in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, that "the cases of 10 companies have been filed, including a complaint against the Sulaymaniyah branch of the Middle East Bank, the bank's consultant, the official of the Iraqi private banks branch in the Kurdistan Region, and five lawyers to the Integrity Commission, who registered 10 companies in the names of 6 Citizens of the Kurdistan Region.
He added, "Among those companies (Layal Al-Ibdaa Company, Zouk Al-Tayeb Company, Shine Al-Bahr Company, White Fog Company, Al-Laith Creativity Company, Future Gifts Company, Firdous Al-Hayat Company, Happiness of Life Company, Wadi Al-Bilad Company, and Rawat Al-Sahab Company)".
The Kurdish parliamentarian pointed out, "These matters are a method of money laundering, which exposes Iraq to the risk of economic collapse and the devaluation of the dinar."
