Today, Sunday, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ali Warhan, revealed new movements of the Turkish army in northern Iraq.
In an interview with (Baghdad Today), Warhan said, "The Turkish army is making new moves and deploying military mounds in different mountainous areas of Dohuk Governorate."
He added, "The recent Turkish bombardment is a prelude to the establishment of new hills and military bases, as well as movements whose target is unknown on the border strip with Syria, as well as in Amadiyah and the Mateen Mountain Road."
Turkish forces are launching military operations in northern Iraq, under the pretext of confronting the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), an organization that Ankara classifies as a "terrorist" organization.
