    The President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received, at the Baghdad Palace, a delegation of scientists, innovators, and inventors in various fields.
    During the meeting, the President of the Republic affirmed that totalitarian governments were the cause of the decline in the level of education in the country, and that unremitting efforts must be made to improve it and develop studied plans to change the curricula for all levels in line with the changes of the times, explaining the need to adopt modern programs and plans that help prepare an informed generation. An educated person who can serve his country in many fields.
    The President of the Republic stated that Iraq has a rich scientific history since the time of Hammurabi and the House of Wisdom is the best witness to that, and that there are a large number of personalities, competencies and talents working in scientific and humanitarian specializations. Ahead of them to produce and discover.
    He also stressed the need to honor creators in various fields, advance the reality of Iraqi competencies and elites, and invest their energies and experiences for the good and prosperity of the country.
    During the meeting, views were also exchanged on the next stage and the need to form a body that brings together innovators and works to nurture them, adopt their research, support the talented youth segment, and invest their ideas and proposals and develop them to advance the industrial and agricultural reality and other areas that are directly related to citizens.
    In this regard, the President of the Republic expressed the readiness of the Presidency of the Republic to assist in this regard.
    In turn, the members of the delegation expressed their happiness at meeting the President of the Republic and their hope for his continued support and sponsorship of the creative segment, stressing that the state is not built without its scholars, and we are ready to make efforts to contribute to building Iraq and drawing its bright future.
