He pointed out that the purpose is "to develop and strengthen aspects of joint cooperation in the field of water resources for the benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, and they are aware of the common challenges they face in managing water resources, since cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of water resources can contribute to the economic and social development of the two countries."
Diab added, "The memorandum aims to strengthen and enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/47585/%D8%AC%D9%85%D9%87%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82/ar/]Republic of Iraq[/url] and the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/47637/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%85%D9%84%D9%83%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%B1%D8%AF%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%B4%D9%85%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan[/url] through visits, workshops, conferences and seminars in water resources management, capacity development, and the establishment of cooperation relations based on equality and mutual benefit in several areas, including water desalination for multiple purposes and Management of ground and surface water resources and the impact of climate change on the water sector and management and security of dams and renewable energy in the water sector.
