The House of Representatives announced the adjournment of its session, which was held today, Thursday, while indicating the completion of reading 9 important first-read laws.
A statement by the media office of the House of Representatives stated that "the House of Representatives adjourned its session," indicating that "the House of Representatives has completed the first reading of the draft law, the first amendment to the draft law supporting small income-generating projects."
He added, "The Council finished the first reading of the draft law ratifying the agreement to encourage and protect investment between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the United Arab Emirates, and it also completed the first reading of the draft law ratifying the agreement to avoid double taxation and exchange information with regard to taxes on income and capital between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Republic of Iraq." The Islamic Republic of Iran and the protocol thereto.
He continued, "The House of Representatives also completed the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention on Intervention on the High Seas in Case of Accidents Causing Oil Pollution of 1969 and the Protocol on Intervention on the High Seas in Cases of Pollution with Substances Other than Oil of 1973."
He pointed out, "The House of Representatives has completed the first reading of a draft law ratifying the agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent evasion from paying taxes imposed on income and capital between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Republic of Turkey, in addition to having completed the first reading of the draft law ratifying the Arab Protocol to Prevent and Combat Maritime Piracy." And the armed robbery supplementary to the Arab Convention on Combating Transnational Organized Crime, and the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the agreement, establishing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development of 1990, ended.
He pointed out, "The Council finished the first reading of the draft law ratifying the cooperation agreement between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of maritime transport, as well as completing the first reading of the draft law ratifying the agreement to avoid double taxation in the matter of taxes on income on capital and to prevent evasion." and tax avoidance between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
