The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Turki, confirmed, on Thursday, that the political forces will vote to adopt the St. Lego system in the upcoming elections, regardless of the percentage that will be subject to discussions and understandings within the House of Representatives.
Turki said in a press statement, "The bad experience that marred the current election law during the past elections proved its failure, which prompted the Federal Court to change the current electoral law, as well as to adopt manual counting and sorting instead of electronic, which witnessed clear fraud in the election results."
He added, "The political forces within the House of Representatives are heading towards approving a unified law for the elections of the provincial councils and the House of Representatives."
He pointed out, "The political forces will vote to adopt the St. Lego system in the upcoming elections, regardless of the percentage that will be subject to discussions and understandings within the House of Representatives."
