The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, said on Thursday that Baghdad is our strategic depth and solving problems with it will pave the way for political, security and economic stability throughout Iraq.
Barzani pointed out during the second Erbil Dialogue Conference, followed by "NAS" (March 2, 2023), that "there is a positive atmosphere that prevails in the relationship between the two parties at all levels, and we will not miss any opportunity to end it, and our bilateral relationship is complementary."
He continued, "There is high coordination between the two parties, which resulted in striking the terrorist ISIS gangs and addressing their threat," noting at the same time that "there are efforts to approve the general budget in the Council of Ministers soon."
Speaking about the global energy crisis, Barzani said, "Iraq has energy sources that could solve the problems of lack of supplies in some countries of the world," according to the official agency.
