    Today, Saturday, in Al-Najaf Governorate, the activities of the Comprehensive Health Care Exhibition will be concluded in its second edition, which witnessed wide international, Arab and local participation over a period of three days, during which scientific and medical conferences and seminars were held on the sidelines of the exhibition. 
    Maher Al-Aboudi, Director of the Governorate Health Media, told Al-Sabah: The exhibition was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and the local government in Najaf, with the participation of about 240 companies and medical institutions from 15 Arab and foreign countries, indicating that the exhibition is a great opportunity for health institutions in the country to be provided with the latest medical devices. Keeping pace with the scientific development of developed countries in the field of medicine and laboratory devices. 
    He mentioned that a large number of Arab and foreign scientific and medical personalities participated in the exhibition, so it is an opportunity to exchange experiences and benefit from them in the health sector. 
    For his part, Haider Al-Musawi, media official of the Permanent International Exhibition of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, explained to Al-Sabah that the aforementioned exhibition is of great importance in the process of developing the health reality at the level of Najaf in particular and the country in general, noting that the exhibition also included a specialized exhibition for surgeons, dermatologists and plastic surgeons, with the participation of more From 300 scientific and medical personalities from advanced countries in this field, including Britain, France, the United States, Sweden, Germany and Austria, pointing out that there are local, Arab and foreign hospitals that also participated in the exhibition to benefit from the modern medical technologies presented. 
    The participants expressed their great satisfaction with their presence in Iraq and the different image they found on reality than what they see through the media and satellite channels.
     So Professor Peter Monk from the British Medical University of Sheffield told Al-Sabah that this is his first visit to Iraq, and through what he saw he wished to come to Iraq again and to Najaf in particular, adding that he had visited some medical laboratories in the province and found good laboratory equipment, Well educated and trained staff. As for his participation in the exhibition, Monk mentioned that he is a specialist in immunology and microbiology, and his participation in the conference was with a research paper on how to transfer new treatments from the stage of laboratory research to the stage of commercial production and marketing.
