The Ministry of Agriculture confirmed, today, Friday, that farmers' advances are associated with approving the budget to activate the Concessional Agricultural Lending Fund, while setting priorities for granting them.
The Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mahdi Sahar al-Jubouri, said, in an interview with the official agency, which was followed by Mawazine News, that "the farmers' advances are currently associated with approving the budget to activate the concessional agricultural lending fund."
Al-Jubouri added, "The priority in granting advances is to purchase modern irrigation systems, establish livestock projects, establish palm groves with modern irrigation methods, purchase mechanization of pullers and harvesters, and establish refrigerated and frozen warehouses."
