{Economic: Al Furat News} A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, confirmed today, Saturday, that there is no agreement to pass a 3-year budget so far.
"Until now, there is no agreement to pass a 3-year budget," Cougar said in a statement to {Euphrates News} agency.
And Cougar indicated that "the committee will focus on the budget for the year 2023, and we will sit with the government for the purpose of discussing some paragraphs."
On the thirteenth of last March, the Council of Ministers approved the draft financial budget law and submitted it to Parliament for a vote, with high proposed expenditures and investments, driven by the increase in oil prices, for a period of 3 years, starting from 2023.
