[size=52]A movement to revive the central markets with a new combination[/size]

[size=45]Yesterday, Sunday, the Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairy, spoke of a move to activate construction companies and introduce central markets to service with a new combination, while noting that all contracts regarding the food basket are audited and certified by the highest authorities. Al-Ghariri said, in a statement carried by the official news agency, and followed by (Al-Mada), that "the Ministry of Commerce will work to activate the rest of its construction companies, and it will enter the line soon."[/size]
[size=45]He added, "The central and food markets will enter in a very beautiful combination, through marketing complexes, which was the simple first step." Al-Ghurairy pointed out that "the next steps are much greater, and we will be as close as possible to the citizens, through our work on the ground."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out, “The contracts of the Ministry of Commerce are large, so they are monitored and under the eyes of all oversight departments from the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau or from the Integrity Commission, the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, the Council of Ministers and advisors, so everyone is aware of the least details.”[/size]
[size=45]At the same time, Al-Ghurairy explained, "The doors of the Ministry of Commerce are open to all to view its records."[/size]
[size=45]He stressed the need for “concerted legislative and executive efforts to instill confidence in the heart of the citizen, by disseminating the correct information.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Ghurairy went on to say, "All the papers of the Ministry of Commerce are accurate, and its dealings and contracts on prices are audited and certified by the highest authorities. This is what concerns the food basket."[/size]
[size=45]For his part, the Director General of the Commercial and Financial Control Department of the Ministry, Riyad Al-Moussawi, said in press statements followed by (Al-Mada), that “with regard to the preparation of the third food basket, it has been completed by 100%, and we are about to prepare the fourth food basket.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Moussawi added, "Our supervisory teams continue their role in monitoring supply operations by agents, as well as in local markets."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out, "There are campaigns launched and they have existed for a long time between the oversight teams and security agencies from organized crime and national security."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Moussawi explained, "This communication resulted in several things, including the arrest of weak-minded people who monopolize foodstuffs or replace them, including food basket items, or fill them in other bags."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Moussawi went on to say, “The Ministry of Commerce is continuing to combat commercial fraud for various brands, including food basket items and the ration ration, to reduce manipulation for fear that it will lead to an increase in prices.”[/size]
[size=45]In the same context, a statement by the Ministry stated, “The Director General of the General Company for Food Trade in the Ministry of Commerce, Eng. Lama Hashim Al-Moussawi, chaired a meeting of the departments of the company’s branches and locations to follow up on completing the preparation of the Ramadan basket and the basket for the social protection network.”[/size]
[size=45]And the statement continued, "The meeting was held electronically via the (ZOOM) platform, in the presence of the directors of the marketing, import, financial affairs, and quality control departments in the company."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out, to "discussing the percentages of preparing the Ramadan basket and the basket for the social protection network, with an emphasis on the need to redouble efforts and complete the preparation process during the next two days."[/size]
[size=45]And he explained, “The general manager of the company directed to continue to follow up the work of food agents in coordination with the oversight committees to ensure that materials reach all citizens.”[/size]
[size=45]The statement stressed, "No additional amounts have been collected over the prescribed amount (500) dinars per person, in exchange for preparing the items of the food basket."[/size]
[size=45]The statement called, "Citizens to report violations via the announced hotlines or via the official Facebook site of the ministry and the company."[/size]
[size=45]The Ministry of Commerce had announced the launch of the electronic ration card, while calling on all citizens to update their data, indicating that this comes within the ministerial curriculum of the government of Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, voted on by Parliament.[/size]
