Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: The US National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, announced that he will visit Saudi Arabia at the beginning of the week to hold talks with its leaders.
This came in a speech he delivered before the “Washington Institute” regarding the American strategy in the Middle East
"This weekend I will be in Saudi Arabia for meetings with its leaders," Sullivan said.
He added, "My counterparts from the UAE and India will also come to Saudi Arabia as part of the meetings so that we can discuss new eras of cooperation between New Delhi and the Gulf, as well as the United States and the rest of the region."
He pointed out that "the situation in Yemen will be part of the discussions."
Sullivan, the president's senior foreign policy adviser, touched on Middle East issues from Iran, Syria and Iraq to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
He emphasized that “the US commitment to the Middle East region is unwavering.”
