    {Politics: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, indicated today, Thursday, that efforts are being made to approve the budget soon, and this will encourage investment opportunities in the country.
    And the office of the President of the Republic stated in a statement received by {Euphrates News} that "the latter received, at the Baghdad Palace, the Czech Foreign Minister, Jan Lipavsky, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein. President Rashid touched on the situation in Iraq and the security stability that Baghdad and the rest of the cities are witnessing, referring to The government has an ambitious program that includes strengthening security and stability, and providing the best services to citizens. 
    President Rashid indicated that "there are efforts being made to approve the budget soon, and this will encourage investment opportunities in the country," expressing his hope for the presence of Czech companies and investment in many important strategic projects, and their cooperation with Iraqi companies in this regard. 
    Rashid stressed in this context that "the Iraqi government is serious about openness in the field of investment and facilitating procedures for international companies to enter the country and encouraging them to invest in light of security stability in the Iraqi provinces and cities," noting that "Iraq has good relations and is open to the countries of the world and the region in a manner that serves the interests joint". 
    For his part, Minister Jan Lipavsky expressed his happiness to visit Iraq and meet the President of the Republic, indicating that his country welcomes the developments taking place in Iraq, and expressed the readiness of Czech companies to invest in Iraq.
    During the meeting, they also discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the need to enhance cooperation and coordination in various fields, especially commercial, economic and industrial, in a way that achieves the interests of the two countries and peoples.
