    Baghdad today - Baghdad
    The Saudi Export Development Authority organized a trade mission to Iraq, which was held in the capital, Baghdad, today, Sunday.
    And Saudi media, followed by (Baghdad Today), said, " The work of the trade mission involved more than 37 Saudi companies and 100 Iraqi companies from several sectors, most notably building materials, food products, and packaging, in search of new horizons for cooperation with the Iraqi side."
    The mission included a number of bilateral meetings, business matching meetings, agreements and memorandums of understanding between the Saudi and Iraqi sides.
    And the economic reporter, Manar Al-Obeid, had previously disclosed the amount of Saudi non-oil exports to Iraq until February 2023, which increased by 6.79% on an annual basis and by 1% on a monthly basis, to reach a value of 277.9 million Saudi riyals

    . Saudi Arabia’s animal products (meat and poultry) increased by 96% on an annual basis and by 19% on a monthly basis. As for aluminum exports, which represent 35% of total exports, they increased by 18% on an annual basis and by 73% on a monthly basis, while its exports from Food and beverage products, which represent 27% of total exports, increased by 44% on an annual basis and by 19% on a monthly basis.

    And Al-Obeidi added, “The most declining commodities were electrical equipment and electronic devices, which represented 2.7% of total exports, as they declined by 70% on an annual basis and decreased by 71% on a monthly basis. Goods made of plastics also declined, which represented a rate of 8.45%. Of the total exports, by 10% on an annual basis and by 16% on a monthly basis, the products of the chemical industries declined, which represented 6.79% of the total exports, by 42% on an annual basis and 31% on a monthly basis.

    Al-Obaidi pointed out in his statement, that "the total non-oil Saudi exports to Iraq represent 1.
