    The economic expert, Nasser Al-Kinani, confirmed the continued entry of foreign workers in large numbers through brokers from several border crossings, most notably in Kurdistan, adding that all people who entered Iraq were not examined or medical tests were conducted for them.
    Al-Kinani said in a press interview seen by “Takadum” that “the continuous entry of these numbers exacerbated many negative effects on the Iraqi economy in general and on the individual in particular,” noting that “foreign labor contributed greatly to the exit of millions of dollars from Iraq annually.”
    And he added, “There is a clear failure on the part of the Ministry of Immigration as a result of the occurrence of many legal and economic violations in this file,” pointing out that “the matter reached buying and selling in these people, as the price of the worker reached 300 thousand dollars, while the price of the worker reached 600.” dollar".
    And Al-Kinani concluded his speech, that “all the people who entered Iraq were not examined or medical tests were conducted for them,” noting that “one of the main outlets for the entry of foreign workers through smuggling is the outlets of the Kurdistan region.”
    And the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Financial Affairs, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, had confirmed that foreign workers transfer 600 million dollars annually outside Iraq and work in sectors with limited productivity, while actual unemployment in Iraq is 16% of the total workforce.
