Al-Yasiri said, in an exclusive interview with Alsumaria News, that "the Parliamentary Strategic Planning Committee hosted me inside the House of Representatives," indicating that "the hosting is very productive and good, because through the questions of the representatives and the review of the government program, we explained a lot about the ministry's work, its strategic plans, and the problems it faces." In addition to the plan in force and our methods for resolving these problems, supporting the private sector, how to deal with lagging projects, and how to improve the level of service and the talents of technological development.

She added, "Determining the prices of mobile phone credit cards is not within the competence of the ministry, because phone companies are licensed by the Media and Communications Commission, and we cannot hold them accountable, that is, everything related to the mobile phone is related to the authority and not to the ministry."

And regarding the launch of the fifth generation service, Al-Yasiri indicated that "the government program included the work of a consultancy study to launch a national operator and the fifth generation service, as the study was completed on time, and it was submitted to the Council of Ministers," pointing out that "the decision must be issued by the council itself." As well as knowing the opinion of the media, and now we are waiting for the position of the two parties.

As for corporate debts, the Minister of Communications stated that "the ministry found accumulated debts on some mobile phone companies, which were not previously held accountable, so we proceeded to issue warnings and seize funds to recover the debts, and some companies began to pay their debts."

Earlier in the day, the Parliamentary Strategic Planning Committee hosted the Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, to discuss a number of files.
