The Cooperative Agricultural Bank announced, on Sunday, the granting of soft loans to support workers.
The bank’s media stated in a statement received by Mawazine News: “In implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, which aim to support the segment of workers from the private sector covered by the (Social Security) law, and in light of strengthening the role of workers and improving their living conditions, it was decided to grant soft loans to support this segment.” ".
He added, “The bank has developed a strategic plan and controls for granting loans not exceeding ten million dinars, with a competitive interest rate of 3% to support this important segment of society, and with a repayment period of five years, indicating that “all commissions collected from the beneficiary will be reduced.” The director
directed General of the Cooperative Agricultural Bank, “All branches need to pay attention and facilitate procedures in accordance with legal and administrative controls and work diligently to solve the obstacles facing this segment of the country’s people.”
