The security official of the Hezbollah Brigades, Abu Ali Al-Askari, on Sunday, rejected the visit of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Iraq and said that it would be met with an unprecedented escalation, while he indicated that the Brigades would close the US embassy in a “private, non-peaceful” way.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Askari explained on the “X” platform, “The visit of Anthony Blinken, the son of a Jew, America’s Secretary of State, and even the Zionist Minister of War, is not welcome in the Iraq of Ali and Hussein (peace be upon them), and if he comes, we will meet him with an unprecedented escalation.”[/size]
[size=45]US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is scheduled to arrive in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, today, Sunday.[/size]
[size=45]An informed government source reported that “tomorrow, Sunday, the US Secretary of State will conduct an official visit to the capital, Baghdad, during which he will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani and his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein,” explaining that “the visit comes to discuss developments in the situation in the region following the war in Gaza.”[/size]
[size=45]He continued, "The US Secretary of State's discussions will focus on the armed factions' escalation of attacks against American targets and interests and delivering warning messages that Washington will respond to these attacks."[/size]
[size=45]Abu Ali Al-Askari added, “After the military escalation of the Islamic resistance in Iraq this week, it will work to close American interests in Iraq and disrupt them in the region, and this is what we will reach in the coming weeks if the aggression continues.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Askari continued, “Closing the American embassy and preventing holders of American citizenship from entering the country. We will reach it in our own (non-peaceful) way, because peaceful dealing with killers is cowardice and weakness, and this does not befit the followers of Ali (peace be upon him).”[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that “opening the file of removing foreign forces at this time is a speck of dust in the eyes, an attempt to tie the hands of the resistance, and distract internal public opinion from the Gaza issue. The situation is that removing these forces from the country is inevitable.”[/size]
