The American Wall Street Journal, citing informed officials, confirmed that Israeli soldiers are being killed in Gaza at more than double the rate of the 2014 war it launched in the Strip.
It reported that with 29 Israeli soldiers killed in a week of the operation, Israelis are dying at a rate more than double the rate in 2014, when 67 Israelis were killed in the operation that lasted 7 weeks.
The newspaper added that members of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, show greater readiness and capabilities than they did when Israel launched a military operation in Gaza in 2014.
The American newspaper reported that the resistance factions used the experience to develop local skills in weapons manufacturing and collect weapons from materials available in the Gaza Strip, despite the Israeli siege of the Strip, and they are now using these weapons to confront the Israeli army.
The occupation media published, under the “permitted to publish” clause, the names and ranks of 4 occupation army soldiers, who it said “fell” in battles with the Hamas movement in the northern Gaza Strip.
The occupation army spokesman reported that the number of deaths among the army had risen to 29 soldiers and officers since the start of the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip on October 28. End 25
